Our company is looking for a Head of Social Media to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the content strategy for social media, drawing upon Ring’s extensive storytelling narratives and content types;
  • Become an expert and champion of Ring’s community, ensuring our content is focused on the needs of our Neighbors;
  • Own the development of the strategic social media marketing plan and its associated budget across campaigns and channels;
  • Establish repeatable methodologies and mechanisms that enable frugal, fast, and responsive content development and distribution;
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of talented professionals;
  • Identify opportunities and own relationships with external customers;
  • Reports to Director of Brand Communications;
  • Collaborate with Brand Strategy and Analytics to intimately understand Ring’s customers, products, and brand positioning.

Requirements:

  • Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams;
  • Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; experience working across different teams to inform and produce content;
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation creation skills;
  • A detail-oriented, process lover through and through;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field;
  • Highly creative individual with enthusiasm to conceptualize and implement programs that are disruptive while maintain brand elevation;
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports;
  • Ability to think creatively with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas for customers;
  • Experience with Tableau and SQL;
  • 5+ years of managerial experience, including hiring, developing, and motivating a social media and content team to perform at the highest level;
  • A strong attention to detail in both written and visual contexts and an “always on” sense of urgency;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant industry experience;
