Heavy Equipment Service Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Service Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Interview candidates to maintain proper staffing levels;
- Various administrative duties. Must maintain accurate files and log books;
- Other duties as assigned by management;
- Plan, organize and direct staff to maximize service while minimizing cost;
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the yard, shop and equipment;
- Meet with Branch Manager to discuss and resolve branch related issues;
- Train employees on correct process for completing repairs;
- Monitor reports concerning rental and owned equipment and implement proper solutions to maintenance and service issues.
Requirements:
- Previous rental experience a plus;
- Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record;
- Previous Service experience required;
- Basic computer skills preferred;
- Must be able to multitask;
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Some hands on work repairing equipment will be required.
