Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to all other departments including housekeeping, food and beverage, etc;
  • Continuously improve the daily performance of the shipboard team and hotel department;
  • Oversee hotel departments to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality are provided to guests;
  • Attend and network at various community, industry and civic events;
  • Optimize RevPar by analyzing market demand and establish proactive selling and yield;
  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of the Front Office, Guest Service and Housekeeping;
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality, accommodating special;
  • Coordinate all room blocks and special events for large groups;
  • requests whenever possible;
  • Drive the hotel culture to e in line with corporate and brand standards;
  • Some travel required;
  • Maintain good working relationship with all departments;
  • Ensure all associates are properly trained;
  • Monitor the performance of the hotel throughout the year;
  • Promote an atmosphere of Teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management;
  • Full-service hotel background only;
  • 2-5 years in a hotel general manager role;
  • Experience and knowledge in Rooms division;
  • Be operationally and technically savvy;
  • Luxury hotel experience;
  • A proven track record for developing team members;
  • Exceptional leadership and communication;
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding budgets and timelines;
  • Proven track record of building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment;
  • Give our guests the most incredible stay they could have, living our vision;
  • Excellent leadership skills;
  • Proven track record in delivering financial results;
  • CHA certification a plus;
  • Interact with the rest of the hotel for smooth communication.
