Information Security Governance Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Information Security Governance Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing analysis, oversight, and reporting of adherence to governance program;
- Assist in the development and presentation of education and training materials;
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to continue to evolve and mature the governance program;
- Provide leadership through cross-training and upskilling of team;
- Partner in development and execution of integration cross-program integrations;
- Provide support of cross-squad product-related work.
Requirements:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and/or process improvement (Six Sigma);
- Demonstrate coaching and upskilling of peers;
- Proactive individual with a “can do” attitude and a demonstrated track record of success;
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite;
- Some experience with data analytics tools (SAS, Tableau, Python, etc.);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- One or more of the following professional certifications CISA, CRISC, CGEIT;
- Demonstrate curiosity and initiative to learn, develop skills, seek feedback, and improve existing processes and reporting;
- 6+ years work experience and/or undergraduate degree preferred;
- Critical thinking and creative problem solving required;
- Experience with industry standards frameworks (e.g. COBIT, NIST, DCAM, ISO, etc�?�);
- Strong collaboration skills required.
