Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to develop solutions to complex IS compliance and security problems;
- RMF artifact repository maintenance (eMASS);
- Experience successfully interfacing with internal and external customers (i.e. SCAs, Program Managers, etc.);
- Familiar with the security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems;
- Cybersecurity baseline management and change reporting;
- Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals;
- Experience with various types of Special Test Equipment (STE);
- Public speaking experienc;
- Trained and proficient in Assured File Transfer (AFT) processes and tools;
- Knowledge in UNIX, Linux, Solaris, IRIX, SUSE, and MAC operating systems;
- Excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, and customer service skills;
- Must possess a current Secret clearance and able to obtain Top Secret clearance;
- RMF documentation as part of accreditation efforts;
- Knowledge of computer forensics tools and investigative methodologies;
- Experience supporting various computer hardware and multiple operating systems in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations.
