Our company is looking for a Land Acquisition Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching land records for information regarding property ownership and title history;
  • Property research to ascertain right of way dedication commitments approved through prior legislative approvals;
  • Manages contracts with appraisers and right of way acquisition consultants as required;
  • Processing inquiries from the public relating to real property;
  • Coordinating with other County departments, including the County Attorney’s Office in preparing contracts and other acquisition documents;
  • Reviewing right-of-way plats and construction drawings to identify property interests to be acquired and potential property damages;
  • Keeps accurate and thorough records for each property to be used in the event of Eminent Domain cases.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Land Acquisitions, Planning and Development;
  • Highly organized with exceptional analytical skills and understanding of complex financial analysis;
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Business. A Master’s Degree would be a plus;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, Single and/or Multi-Family Land Acquisitions.
