Our company is looking for a Part-Time Office Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for recruiting and training new team members;
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord;
  • Supplies, kitchen, keeping clean/org;
  • Set up new hire desks and set up for first day;
  • Plan (and participate in) team events;
  • Greeting candidates/visitors – ensuring schedule stays on track;
  • Manage the day-to-day office operations of a small and growing technology startup;
  • Report company expenditures and variance from budget;
  • Address employee-s queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements);
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services;
  • Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment;
  • Schedule meetings and appointments;
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences;
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease;
  • Provide general support to visitors.

Requirements:

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail;
  • Must be at least 21 years old;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field;
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills;
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements;
  • Knowledge and interest in the technology space;
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Doc, Sheets, etc.);
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant.
