Partner Marketing Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Track leads generated from partner events;
- Act as the main interface between the partnership and marketing teams;
- Produce partner related content such as case studies and win wires to drive partner channel sales and awareness;
- Identify, plan and execute memorable in person event experiences that align to business goals and objectives;
- Report and analyze program performance and sales pipeline to ensure ROI for investments and efforts;
- Manage partner level program plans, project managing efforts to achieve next level rank;
- Actively promote partner engagement by planning and producing awareness activities such as content, events and campaigns;
- Work with partner managers to create quarterly partner plans that generate market awareness and drive opportunities with and through the channel;
- Developing and directing the development of partner-focused content and collateral;
- Review and refine partner presence on website;
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with key partners;
- Evaluate the performance of partner marketing programs and recommend improvements;
- Develop joint marketing plans based on market trends and customer needs;
- Create internal and partner sales enablement for joint solutions;
- Offer strategic recommendations for existing and new partner opportunities.
Requirements:
- Strong content writing skills;
- A strong understanding of branding with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail;
- Good understanding of and social media & digital marketing;
- Strong passion for online education and understanding of the higher education landscape;
- Comfort with understanding and interpreting marketing performance reports and communicating their results;
- A track-record of building measurable B2B /B2C programs and marketing communications efforts that deliver against bold business goals;
- 5- 7 year of marketing / Partner marketing experience around PIM and eCommerce related products;
- At least five years Marketing/ Partner marketing experience in an IT product Environment, especially around Product Information Management solutions;
- BA/BS and 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing or equivalent practical work, with at least one year in partner or channel marketing;
- Ability to travel;
- Proven writing and storytelling. You have writing samples to share;
- Highly organized. You can plan a project without missing a beat;
- Intellectually curious and unafraid to get your hands dirty analyzing what’s working and what’s not;
- B2B SaaS Experience;
- Even better: Experience / Understanding of our core market (incident management, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering).
