Our company is looking for a Preschool Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with 30 hours of Early Childhood Education;
  • Managing a budget, licensing, marketing activities;
  • Maintains good attendance;
  • Develops relationship in the community;
  • Applies newly acquired knowledge to everyday practices and require the same from staff;
  • Will manage parent accounts and AFC process. keeps office organized , monitors daily maintenance of the facility;
  • Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills;
  • Develops and maintain relationships with staff, families and children;
  • Strongly encourages parents to attend meetings;
  • Be a positive influence on staff and parents;
  • Knows DCFS Policy;
  • Develop strong relationships with our families and faculty;
  • Must have knowledge of the COPA system, be willing to attend meetings and apply knowledge in everyday work;
  • Follow Head Start Directives;
  • Create documentation of children’s accomplishments through anecdotal notes, work sampling and/or portfolios to assess children’s progress.

Requirements:

  • Prior Managerial Experience in a large Preschool setting is a must;
  • BA or BS in Education or similar field;
  • Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • NYS teaching certification;
  • Social perceptiveness;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience;
  • Active listening;
  • Learning strategies;
  • Judgment and decision making;
  • 3+ years’ teaching experience working in early childhood programs;
  • 45 Infants and toddlers training;
  • An Associates degree in early childhood with at least 15 semester hours of approved coursework, or A bachelor’s degree in any field;
  • 3 clock hours in ADA compliance and;
  • MSDE OCC Regulation training.
