Responsibilities:
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics;
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support;
- Ensure that company initiatives and tools provided are used and maximized;
- Sell radio and digital advertising;
- Negotiate direct and agency business.Input client orders and copy using company provided software;
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients;
- Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions;
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients;
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions;
- Understand digital marketing including mobile and programmatic digital advertising;
- Working with sales team when closing sale;
- Ensure attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual local + NTR + digital budget goals;
- Presenting and delivering information to potential clients;
- Maintaining database in Salesforce of prospective client information;
- Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
Requirements:
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor;
- Persuasive and goal-oriented;
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently;
- A minimum two years’ sales experience;
- A proven track record delivering strong and consistent sales growth while consistently exceeding revenue targets;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment;
- Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred;
- This position requires a fully insured personal vehicle and valid driver’s license;
- Self-motivated and self-directed;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Salesforce experience required;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers;
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close;
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day;
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client.
