Our company is looking for a Senior Category Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive promotional planning by season and year for key accounts;
  • Analyze and evaluate pre and post-promotion analyses for retailer, quantifying impact to brand and category;
  • manage inventories accordingly;
  • maintain a no-gap supply chain with on time delivery as required;
  • Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business;
  • Understand day to day impact of the POS to facilitate decision making;
  • Be the go-to resource for your categories at corporate and within the sales field;
  • identify and cultivate alternative suppliers on a global scale;
  • Collaborate with sales directors to drive retailer meetings;
  • Manage, Coach, and Mentor a team of analysts partnering with the SharkNinja sales organization;
  • Bring structure and process to think broadly on scaling projects with both retailers;
  • keep up with market news and global events that affect pricing and supply;
  • Develop strategic relationships with the Sales Directors, Operation Managers, and VP’s of Sales as well as Finance and Marketing;
  • Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities;
  • demonstrate excellent knowledge of Key Cost Drivers for all items purchased and hold vendors accountable.

Requirements:

  • high volume / high spend purchasing;
  • direct and indirect purchasing experience including food grade (which is a must);
  • excellent at researching pricing looking for both great pricing and quality, a great negotiator;
  • experienced in a team setting;
  • have outstanding communication skills;
  • high energy, organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize with efficiency.
