Our company is looking for a Senior Director, Human Resources to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the agency’s Administrative Services function, including the following;
- Lead, oversee, or act as a key partner to the affiliate’s diversity, equity, and inclusion program;
- Manage execution of competing priorities; balancing short-term tactical implementation with longer-term strategic goals;
- Foster a diverse workplace which enables all employees to be exceptional and maximize their contribution;
- Develop and lead projects and/or work with appropriate 3rd party resources to drive HR solutions;
- Attract, hire, and retain top-quality employees — with an emphasis on high performance, learning, and career development;
- Coach, mentor, and develop HR team to ensure ongoing high performance;
- Manage a compensation plan that is equitable, responsive to business objectives, market-driven, transparent, and sustainable;
- Legal services, carried out by the General Counsel and various contracted service providers;
- Establish collaborative and productive relationships with colleagues from the parent company, internal/external partners, and relevant affiliates;
- Travel requirements subject to business needs (estimated ~15%);
- Oversee a competitive and cost-effective benefits program that is a recruitment asset and helps drive retention;
- Be a role model for leadership and management excellence;
- Delivers change management consultation to clients;
- Performs other duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Organized and process oriented;
- Strategic thinker with ability to implement;
- Excellent judgment and ability to build trust at all organizational levels;
- Extensive knowledge of employment and labor law required;
- Experience overseeing risk management, legal, and/or security functions preferred;
- Experience with software industry and/or agile development environment a plus;
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred;
- BA/BS or University education with an average of 12+ years of relevant HR experience;
- Solid and sophisticated skills in: consulting, contracting, mediating, negotiating, coaching;
- Working knowledge of German Labor Law would be beneficial;
- Experience in working across multiple countries/cultures;
- Exposure to and comfort with higher management;
- Fluent in English (written and verbal);
- Master’s degree with emphasis on Human Resources Management, Business, or related area preferred;
- Experience of working in a high performance/ metrics-driven culture.
