Our company is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between Disney Channel and DTCI on Disney+ transfer pricing, reporting, etc;
  • Assist Government staff with tracking monthly budgeting/ accounting spreadsheets and report findings to the Government;
  • Create ad-hoc financial models, analyses and business plans in support of business initiatives;
  • Develop, enhance, update and/or maintain financial planning models and programming amortization models;
  • Prepare materials for regulators; respond to regulatory requests;
  • Draft and deliver high-quality presentations for senior executives and business partners;
  • Understand and analyze drivers such efficiencies, mix, and sales execution;
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of the annual Hearst Corporation dividend package;
  • Assist the Senior Director of Finance on special projects and ad-hoc analysis;
  • Drive special projects as required;
  • Support quarterly Board of Directors and Investor Relations deliverables;
  • L ead monthly analysis of company-wide gross margin performance;
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy and predictability through the rolling forecast vs monthly results process;
  • Ensure that an effective control environment exists within the business;
  • Contribute to external guidance process through deep analysis of gross margin at quarter end.

Requirements:

  • Intense work ethic;
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive activities;
  • Bachelors degree in finance or related discipline; Masters degree preferred;
  • NetSuite experience;
  • Works well with others and in a team environment;
  • Passion for kids/family entertainment and the Disney brand a plus;
  • Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously;
  • 5-7 years of related experience; preferably in financial planning and analysis;
  • Budgetary Skills: Departmental budget Skills; Overall company budget stewardship;
  • Executive presence and ability to interact with senior executives, as well as all other levels of individuals within an organization;
  • Good Systems experience – Preferably an ERP system, Oracle preferred;
  • Digital, Media, Technology company experience a huge plus;
  • Knowledge of Cognos preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience;
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
