Our company is looking for a Senior General Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, supervise and develop staff, including coaching, counseling and discipline;
  • Complies with Standard Accounting policies and procedures and internal controls for finance and accounting operations;
  • Timely reviews and approval of all balance sheet accounts, including monthly bank reconciliation and general ledger account reconciliations;
  • Oversees the operations of one or multiple business segments or product groups which may include a country, region or MRO/plant;
  • Develops and reviews short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies;
  • Has P&L or cost center responsibility within a geographic area, business segment or portfolio;
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms;
  • Includes full accountability of the workforce;
  • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate;
  • Delivers operational and financial objectives for all OE Operational areas in order to plan ahead to manage and mitigate all risks to the business;
  • Represents the organization to internal and external stakeholders in order to present a positive image of the organization;
  • Owns the execution of operations and / or projects to meet established targets and metrics;
  • The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
  • 30-50% travel required;
  • Works with customers and may serve as face of the organization as a leader to public consumers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (in accounting or finance preferred);
  • Timely interacts with Executive Committee members to assure that property operations are on track and under control at all times;
  • Monitor the accurate production of the hotel daily operating report;
  • Prior Control or Director of Finance experience, preferably at a premium-branded Hotel;
  • Must supervise 2 or more employees;
  • Monitor hotels’ compliance in meeting required report deadlines and due dates and react accordingly;
  • At least 5 or more years of Hospitality Finance/Accounting experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing and in the operation of all hotel-specific systems;
  • Annual: Budgets, 5-Year Plans, 5-Year Capital Plans;
  • Executes other special projects and responsibilities as assigned.
