Senior Paid Media Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage media negotiations and vendor relationships;
- Create, manage, and optimize Amazon Advertising campaigns (formerly Amazon Marketing Services);
- Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results to clients;
- Develop and execute key client media strategies across paid search, shopping, and display channels;
- Produce and present media planning documents including optimization & testing strategies, forecasting and competitive analyses;
- Collaborate with Associate Media Director to create, plan, organize, implement and control the media processes & best practices within the department.
Requirements:
- Firm grasp of online media channels including paid and organic search, shopping, display, video, social, email, and affiliate marketing;
- Monday team lunches, stocked kitchen, team happy hours;
- Understanding of pricing models (CPA, CPM, CPC, CPL);
- Experience successfully managing Amazon marketplace programs;
- Experience managing ROI-driven paid search campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini, and various 2nd tier engines;
- Advanced communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills;
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field;
- Writing and proofreading skills (creative copy, emails, etc.);
- Time management and multi-tasking skills, as role requires management of multiple campaigns for multiple clients;

- Deep strategic expertise on multiple advertising platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, Bing, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon, etc.);
- Experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager;
