Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage the timely release of engineering drawings, bills of material, and other documents to support customer requirements;
- Bring initiatives and activities to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with individuals, both internal and external;
- Improve the efficiency of production processes without compromising quality;
- Plan, execute, and lead complex engineering assignments that involve product design;
- Ensure that work area and work areas of direct reports are clean, secure, and well maintained;
- Some travel (5-20%) may be required for this position;
- Perform gauge R&Rs and PFMEAs;
- Provide technical expertise to technical writers, design engineers, and other personnel;
- Alert management to technical and schedule problems in a timely manner;

- Partner with R&D and manufacturing in new product qualification and turnover;
- Investigate/identify causes of waste generation in order to minimize the amount of waste generated;

- Maintain and monitor raw material, packaging, and finished product inventory levels to maximize cost savings;
- Identify, communicate, and eliminate production bottlenecks with Engineering/Maintenance in order to continually maximize production capacities.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering;
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or other related field;
- The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, or crouch, and move about the facility;
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or other related field;
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CAD software, and ERP systems;
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear;
