Our company is looking for a Senior Research Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a repository of case studies to leverage for client pitches;
  • Provide monthly updates to senior leadership about study activity, pacing towards budget, and performance;
  • Oversee an Analyst/Sr. Analyst and ensure that they’re well-positioned to assume the day-to-day management of study execution;
  • Monitor study results to ensure they’re in line with client expectations;
  • Implement best practices in terms of study and survey design while ensuring all stakeholders have an opportunity for input;
  • Maintain a presentation providing the sales team with an overview of our brand study offerings and keep the presentation updated;
  • Serve as the POC with the sales team and guide them through the study process;
  • Serve as client-facing expert on research capabilities and oversee the execution of all research studies;
  • Have a clear understanding of the best way to execute these studies (i.e. vendor vetting, sample selection, survey design, methodological practice);
  • Consistently evaluate vendors and methodologies in the marketplace to ensure we’re adequately positioned to prove the value of advertiser spends;
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on brand studies, having a clear POV on the best option for each client;
  • Proactively identify new trends and opportunities which the business should act upon;
  • Develop insights which give a deep understanding of our current brand positioning and purpose;
  • Deliver inspirational, action orientated and professional standard research;
  • Provide inspiring insight which helps inform the development of marketing concepts and creatives.

Requirements:

  • Comfort with running research studies yourself, from end to end;
  • Comfort with generating insight to fuel the creative development and marketing planning process;
  • You know when to be scrappy and when to hold the line on methodological rigour;
  • Engaging, inspiring and clear communicator. A proven track record of socialising and embedding research findings to drive business outcomes;
  • Understanding of how to work with modern, agile research techniques;
  • Advanced experience with quantitative research techniques. Bonus points if you’re comfortable with SPSS, Survey Monkey or Qualtrics;
  • Comfort with working with and influencing at senior levels;
  • 10+ years of market research and customer insight experience;
  • Understanding of the nuances of running multi market, Global research studies. Bonus points if this includes experience of working in emerging markets.
