Our company is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Attain monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals for new software licenses, and professional services;
  • Gain access to and influence the appropriate decision makers in managing sales opportunities;
  • Document and report sales activities using CRM tool (Salesforce);
  • Prioritize and qualify leads generated by the selling team, marketing, and sales support;
  • Develop relationships across the aerospace customer divisions;
  • Collaborate closely with the account team, application engineering, and marketing;
  • Develop and manage a funnel of sales opportunities and activities;
  • Generate new business by phone, customer visits, and events;
  • Prospect for new business opportunities within the sales territory;
  • Prepare required sales documentation (e.g. trip reports, proposals, and territory plans);
  • Expand MathWorks market presence and reputation within the territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field;
  • Experience balancing volume and strategic sales;
  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise opportunities, managing complex sales cycles and selling to business and technical executives;
  • Experience working with application engineers and sales support resources;
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales territory and using a CRM system;
  • Prefer 6+ years’ experience inhigh tech sales;
  • A bachelor’s degree and 12 years of professional work experience is required;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Knowledge and experience with the Aerospace & Defense industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or mathematics;
  • Successful track record in complex software solutions sales;
  • A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional work experience is required.
