Our company is looking for a Senior User Researcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate prototypes and live product in iterative development;
  • Bring qualitative meaning to quantitative insights through partnership with our data team;
  • Empower and train non research stakeholders to conduct high quality, light touch research;
  • Communicate insights compellingly to ensure insights turn into;
  • Be comfortable in working on research across the product development cycle- from generative to evaluative, and everything in between;
  • Build deep customer understanding across design, product, sales, support and beyond;
  • Understands complex business and enterprise spaces and deliver clear, and actionable insights;
  • Influential Senior UX researcher who has a breadth of product making experience to draw upon as you provide research expertise to your project space;
  • Balance both agile and strategic research methods on a daily basis to influence product direction, and overall user experience;
  • Use knowledge of company and product strategies to prioritize research activities;
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in a compelling and creative manner to all levels of management;
  • Work closely with the Studio leadership team to ensure training materials align with Studio’s principles and practices;
  • Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business decisions and build even greater empathy for our customers;
  • Lead our Studio’s strategy for building UX capability among the 4,000+ employees in our organization;
  • Plan and execute end-to-end user research across the Study.com product offerings.

Requirements:

  • Be a thought leader and educator to help team members utilize various research methods throughout all stages of their projects;
  • Mentoring business teams on research and usability best practices;
  • 8+ years in user experience research, design research, product research or equivalent;
  • Familiarity with international research and exploring global markets;
  • Assist other User Research team members in designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting out on results from studies;
  • Proven success creating, leading and executing world class user experience research studies;
  • Understanding of the nuances of running multi market, Global research studies. Bonus points if this includes experience of working in emerging markets;
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrixed environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members;
  • 5+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or a combination of both;
  • Experience of a broad range of qualitative user research methods. Bonus points if you are also comfortable with quantitative methodologies;
  • Comfort with generating insight to fuel the product development process;
  • 5+ years of user research experience;
  • Ability to be scrappy, and do what it takes to get the job done;
  • Influential UX researcher who has a wealth of product making experience to draw from;
  • Master presenter and facilitator– needs to be able to effectively lead large groups through workshops and trainings.
