Our company is looking for a Sr. Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Consults with (potential) customer about (new) products and opportunities;
  • Act as the main point of contact for servicing clients, resolving client issues;
  • Lead media finance meetings to discuss client budgeting, vendor actual v variance, filling status and overall media plan reconciliations;
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 PR professionals;
  • Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle;
  • Lead the Accounting & Finance team’s daily activities and ensure an efficient process flow;
  • Further develop integrated media/accounting platform and reporting apparatus;
  • Champion internal systems for increased productivity;
  • Drive projects to final stages of completion by keeping the team both on track and highly motivated;
  • Manage assigned projects, be involved with client projects from start to finish, ensure successful project completion against deadlines;
  • Manage vendors and talent on assigned projects – create purchase orders, monitor actual vs. budgeted costs;
  • Collaborate with the client on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the client;
  • Monitor all internal and external costs for assigned projects;
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensure they are in accordance with GAAP and adhered to in practice;
  • Provide and maintain projects status – liaise with development teams, designers and commercial staff to provide accurate updates of project statuses.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Home Office: Cell Phone, Computer, Printer, etc;
  • Life insurance;
  • Required Travel: 40-50%
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus;
  • Prior experience managing a team;
  • Minimum of 8 years within an accounting or finance department;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
  • Exceptional project management abilities in a leadership role;
  • Knowledge of Bayer Group accounting and reporting requirements (BRIDGE standards);
  • Highly motivated and results oriented;
  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of Life Science/Ag business and manufacturing processes,
  • Knowledge of web application design and build.
