Responsibilities:

  • Sets goals for campaigns, as well as tracks, measures, and summarizes their effectiveness;
  • Develops marketing communications plans in collaboration with supervisors, product management, business development, and regional business units;
  • Develops content plans and brainstorms creative tactics to support strategies;
  • Works with subject-matter experts to create copy and visuals that simply explain complex ideas;
  • Builds strong partnerships with Creative Services, Editorial teams, and outside vendors to execute content;
  • Applies knowledge of customer challenges and unique differentiators to develop content;
  • Executes content for various channels (e.g., web, print, social) to pique customers’ interest and guide them through complex B2B buying;
  • Commits to understanding the power industry and our client’s solutions;
  • Commits to understanding the power industry and S&C’s solutions;
  • Applies knowledge of customer challenges and company’s unique differentiators to develop content;
  • Executes content for various channels (e.g., web, print, social) to pique customers’ interest and guide them through complex B2B buying.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in proofing and editing speeches, white papers, business reviews, and other communications for internal and external use;
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy;
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, and marketing experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Technical Writing, English, or a related field;
