Our company is looking for a Strategist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead brainstorms to translate business and customer needs into innovative and creative solutions;
  • Work with our internal teams throughout the creative process, maintaining strategic focus under changing priorities and tight deadlines;
  • Listen to our clients and account teams to understand business context and goals;
  • Pull data and lead research initiatives including stakeholder interviews and user surveys;
  • Analyze and synthesize results into actionable knowledge on brands, audiences and culture;
  • Craft brand strategies that re-imagine the way users perceive our clients’ brands;
  • Presents research/strategy findings in client and new business meetings;
  • Collects research project input and prepares project/tabulation specifications;
  • Responsible for the consumer relevance of the brand communication strategy;
  • Leads and participates in strategy development initiatives for clients and new business;
  • Works with the account manager to effectively craft creative briefs and brief creative staff;
  • Monitors and interprets cultural and social trends relevant to client business;
  • Analyze and understand all dimensions of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, and develop perspectives on relationships, opportunities and risks;
  • Be an integral member of the BizOps & Strategy team in developing the insights needed to chart the strategic direction and priorities of Kraken;
  • Structure complex and often ambiguous strategic problems for the Kraken leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent industry experience required;
  • Ability to effectively support presentation of results to customers, clients and other employees of the organization;
  • 2-10 years of full time work experience;
  • Public speaking;
  • Effective at communicating complex topics and influencing others;
  • Great attitude;
  • Visionary;
  • Unique thinking;
  • Strong teammate that works well with various functions across the organization;
  • Interest in trading and/or exchanges;
  • 5 years or more of experience;
  • Self-starter;
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, familiarity with PowerPoint/Keynote, and advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships across all levels of management, and to work collaboratively and independently.
