Territory Sales Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling a reasonable time for the store to be reset with Layman Management and the new customer;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Accountability – Results driven and able to establish meaningful goals? Are you committed to constant improvement and learning?
- Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement;
- Track sales activity in CRM tool as directed;
- Track and report results;
- Build and form partnerships for on-going potential lead sources;
- Frequently contact potential or existing customers to inform them about product or service. This will require regular local travel;
- Ownership – Consultative sales approach combined with effective negotiation skills to meet new challenges head on;
- Perform retail audits;
- Development of annual territory plan;
- Support the balance of the Perry’s Ice Cream Sales Team as needed to drive sales;
- Market planning & forecasting;
- Management of small to medium c-store chains;
- Acquisition & maintenance of bulk, independent, and food service customers throughout the territory.
Requirements:
- Understands, assesses, and anticipates customers’ objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities;
- Excellent intrapersonal skills – able to manage one’s own feelings and emotions when in stressful situations;
- Proven experience sales/customer service role is considered as an asset;
- Computer skills, Microsoft, CRM;
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects;
- Goal oriented;
- Strong ability to build rapport with clients;
- Familiarity with CRM platforms;
- 2 years B2B sales experience, but will train the right person;
- Competitive, driven to be the best;
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues;
- Previous Payments, Point of Sale, Processing space experience preferred;
- Flexibility;
