Our company is looking for a UX Research Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading insight activities (e.g., front-end experience creation, design refinement in-person and remotely, A/B testing);
  • Uncovering unexpected insights that drive new experiences as well as the little ā€˜iā€™ insights that inform their development;
  • Moderating sessions;
  • Uncovering experience insights on work streams;
  • Managing recruiting and facilities firms, as well as remote testing panels and partners;
  • Formulating insights and story-telling;
  • Developing the screening criteria, discussion guide, and activities for each stage of insight;
  • Integrating secondary data and input into the insights process;
  • Presenting insights to senior leaders as appropriate;
  • Presenting these insights in a compelling way to help stakeholders understand business customer needs and how those needs impact solutions;
  • Escalating on-going needs and issues to the Director of B2B Insights;
  • Ensuring the Consumer Experience Lab and technology is operating well for consumers and stakeholders;
  • Presenting these insights in a compelling way to help stakeholders understand consumer needs and how those needs impact solutions;
  • Escalating on-going needs and issues to the Director of CXI;
  • Escalating on-going needs and issues to the Senior Manager of CXI.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight;
  • Interview, hire and retain the highest skilled teammates;
  • Collaborate with teammates across multiple locations;
  • Experience in leading high-performing research teams;
  • Define individual goals for each team member and coach/mentor to exceed expectations;
  • Expert command over a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods;
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
  • Define and develop research that addresses stakeholder needs;
  • Proven experience representing and evangelizing user research to business partners, especially senior leaders;
  • Stay abreast of user research trends, educate team, and share with stakeholders;
  • Lead research on existing and emerging digital technologies to improve knowledge and workflow efficiency;
  • Exceptional track record of conducting research for large scale, complex projects and delivering transformative insights;
  • MS or PhD in Psychology, UX, HCI, Human Factors, or related research field;
  • Impeccable communication skills. Able to present complex topics in a simple and compelling manner.
