Vice President, Investments Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Vice President, Investments to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and promote the company through meeting and relevant appearances at industry events;
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of ground-up real estate opportunities;
- Evaluate real estate opportunities be performing due diligence, analyzing feasibility, and leading initial underwriting;
- Prepare and assist in real estate zoning entitlements for predominantly ground-up and mixed-use developments;
- Create and maintain a close relationship with the brokerage community;
- Develop meaningful knowledge of Chicago and other relevant markets’ zoning codes;
- Track relevant real estate markets and competitive developments.
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain buy-in for contentious and/or complex transactions;
- Experience in multifamily underwriting required;
- Proven ability to to identify and execute on a real estate acquisition vision;
- Robust industry network required;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with real estate acquisitions.
