Our company is looking for a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest quality of staff through effective recruiting, hiring, retention, coaching, succession planning and training;
  • Effectively manage and deliver required sales targets within the sales/marketing teams;
  • Keep current on and support marketing strategies;
  • Available throughout the day (open door);
  • Train, evaluate and monitor employee performance goals;
  • Meet or exceed the location generated lead objectives;
  • Identify areas of process improvement and leverage best practices by working with appropriate corporate resources as necessary;
  • Frequently meet with each of the team leaders and staff to review targets and areas of focus;

  • Ensure execution of MODR’s marketing strategies and plans;
  • Create the needed sales and marketing culture. Ensure that;
  • Identify strategic business partners and negotiate needed contracts with potential partners’ top level executives;
  • Monitor progress against targeted strategic and operational goals, and oversee development in implementation of needed correctives actions;
  • Develop the overall marketing and sales strategy.

Requirements:

  • Wyndham President Club qualifier preferred, or similar award earned from another branded vacation ownership organization;
  • Proven numbers supporting a long standing record of success;
  • Hands on experience monitoring financial trends and their application to the business;
  • Positive and upbeat attitude to ensure great work environment;
  • Knowledge and application of sales techniques such as: building rapport, needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the sale;
  • Three plus years of leadership experience with Wyndham Destinations preferred;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Working knowledge of programs sold and serviced by Wyndham Destinations preferred;
  • Have proven strong leadership ability, motivational skills, and enthusiasm;
  • Track record of strong work ethics and integrity with a sincere desire to make a difference;
  • Proven success in a sales leadership role with working knowledge of timeshare/vacation ownership marketing and sales programs;
  • Professional appearance and communication skills in dealing with clients and corporate personnel;
  • Excellent coaching/teaching skills;
  • CA Real Estate License or ability to obtain within specified period of time;
  • OR Real Estate License or ability to obtain within specified period of time.
