Wellness Coach Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Wellness Coach to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Opening/closing the store, responsible for daily task list;
- Merchandising product, pricing, and maintaining an organized, clean welcoming store;
- Suggestive selling, provide outstanding customer service & uphold our huge existing clientele;
- Participate in brand training, event functions on behalf of Rebekah’s and other vendors;
- Greeting customers, answering questions, finding the answers for them if you are unsure;
- Other duties as assigned or requested;
- Provide member coaching in a variety of settings (i.e. telephonic, onsite, virtual).
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Wellness Training and Restorative Nursing Class;
- CPR Certified;
- In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry;
- Experience in hospital or nursing home setting;
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field of study: Nutrition, Health Education, Health Promotion, Exercise Science or Public Health is required;
- Familiarity with Highmark’s preventative health services programs & services;
- Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks;
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current health education practices;
- Experience working with virtual coaching tools like Zoom, Skype or similar technology;
- 1 – 3 years of experience or background working in such health care/clinical roles as a registered dietitian;
- Ability to multitask;
- Skilled in basic computer skills and software applications;
- Experience working in a team environment that supports the management of health services and/or wellness program;
- Knowledge of Prochaska’s Transtheoretical Stage of Change model.
