Our company is looking for a Director of Data Analytics to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively listen, integrate input from diverse sources, and collaboratively translate medical or business questions into data and analysis requirements;
  • Helping customers to realize on-going ROI through WEB and Mobile analytics derived from the Glassbox solution;
  • Undertaking an organization-wide evaluation of our user data collection process and providing suggestions for improvement;
  • Leveraging the Glassbox solution through storytelling and voice of customer emphasis;
  • Creating and productizing integrated suites of reports, dashboards, web services, machine learning models as a separate revenue stream;
  • Foster a “data culture” across the organization by leveling up our analytics function;
  • Assisting in proposal development, RFP responses and other business development efforts;
  • Create and maintain the current and target state data technology architecture, integration, and platform blueprints;
  • Leading workshops and developing business cases for data & analytics teams, processes and technologies;
  • Mining, cleansing and analyzing large data sets from multiple systems;
  • As the leader of the data organization you’ll play a critical role in establishing the team’s technical principles, process, and culture;
  • Providing thought leadership and serving as Director to client executives;
  • Identify and vet new technologies that can be used by your team and other teams by examining best practices from the market and our competition;
  • Own all phases of the data science product lifecycle (exploratory data analysis, model development, model productionizing, rollout, and evaluation);
  • Create roadmaps that prioritize high-impact projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics is a must;
  • Storytelling using creativity, pragmatism and out of the box thinking;
  • Proactive approach with hands on / can-do mindset;
  • 3-5 years experience in data analytics, data science, or other applicable hard skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights that move the business forward exponentially;
  • Like to get your hands dirty with prototyping/ modeling;
  • Someone who loves to mentor and lead teams;
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as R and Python;
  • Unrelenting desire to solve problems and ability to prove hypothesis or belief while being aware of biases;
  • A deep investment in and passion for The Wing’s mission;
  • Strong leadership, influence and teamwork skills. Must be a coach/player – can lead a team and roll up his/her sleeves;
  • Strong written and verbal communication;
  • A critical thinker who loves creating and sharing insights;
  • 3+ years managing and/or mentoring data scientists;
  • Have a working knowledge of common data structures, languages and tools (e.g. Storm, Kafka, Neo4J, Python, R).
