Director of Product Analytics Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director of Product Analytics to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop and lead a team of product analysts for a rapidly growing organization;
- Use statistics fundamentals to provide high-level actionable information to business decision-makers across multiple areas of focus;
- Data Infrastructure: work within RedShift and developing ETL frameworks to automate process;
- Influence change in strategy by presenting insights and recommendations to a variety of levels within the organization, including executives;
- Leverage superior written and verbal communication skills to communicate results and critical insights throughout the organization;
- Set analytical direction and best practices for a team of product analysts;
- Identify what KPIs, data, features and events will evidence whether success has been achieved, where it has been achieved, and why;
- Work across the org to build lasting data modeling solutions to power production systems;
- Be an experimentation, causation, and scientific method practitioner;
- Develop compelling presentations and documents – and communicate them with impact Demonstrate teamwork and leadership;

Requirements:
- Specific experience within the healthcare space – with a provider, consultancy, tech company, insurer, etc;
- Excellent written/ verbal communication; you are persuasive, motivating, and clear; your active listening skills set you apart;
- You take 100% accountability for your work, behavior, and how you show up to others;
- You can travel up to 30% and are Chicago-based;
- 8+ years (total work experience), in positions of increasing responsibility and impact;
- Some exposure to digital solutions/ technologies in a health system context;
- Experience in a commercial product development/ product management role targeting health system leaders as customers;
- Naturally collaborative, excelling at influencing without direct authority;
- Roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic and proven ability to thrive in a results-driven, fast-pace environment;
- Degree in Statistics, Engineering or another quantitative field;
- 2+ years experience leading a team of analysts or data scientists;
- Experience with insurance pricing analysis, customer behavioral analysis, and survey design a plus;
- Strong technology background and proficient in SQL; familiarity with Postgres databases, JQL, and Ruby on Rails a plus;
