Our company is looking for a Legal Operations Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Billing Rate Specialist on special timekeeper rate projects and analysis;
  • Assist the Manager and Legal eBilling team in providing a metrics framework to streamline review of Legal Department RFPs;
  • Maintain and improve evaluation metrics of outside counsel, incorporating legal project management principles as needed.

  • Sound judgment;
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in analytics, metrics, finance or other similar role required;
  • Experience with SAP and legal time and billing systems preferred;
  • Experience with business analytics tools and reporting/dashboarding with a focus in report automation (Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, etc.);
  • 5+ years’ experience in analytics, metrics, finance or other similar role;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while meeting tight deadlines;
  • Ability to coordinate and liaise with multiple departments using strong project management skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of management, and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively;
  • Experience in a large Corporate Legal Department or law firm preferred;
  • Extremely organized and process oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
