Senior Director, Biostatistics Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Director, Biostatistics to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage broad based projects;
- Provide leadership for external (CRO) and internal statisticians;
- Interact with project team, as well as key internal and external stakeholders;
- Maintain awareness of project tasks and effectively communicate the status of such tasks to the Head of Clinical Development and CMO;
- Perform other responsibilities as required by the Department and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- MSc/PhD in Statistics or Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component);
- Clinical experience in Rare diseases, and/or Neurosciences preferred;
- Thorough understanding of the principles of ICH GCP and regulatory requirements is essential;
- Must have experience with regulatory submissions and support; clinical and operational elements of pharmaceutical development;
- Previous clinical operations experience (design and implementation of clinical trials) is required.
