Our company is looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Sales Taxes;
  • Help ensure opportunities are closed with accurate financial information;
  • Coordinate collection efforts for past due invoices with Sales and Customer Success;
  • Throughout the quarter you will assist with other accounting projects/areas as necessary;
  • During contract negotiations, you will interpret and evaluate business cases including ability to develop & use fallback options;
  • For non-standard deal structures you will prepare the revenue accounting position memo and journal entries as needed;
  • Implement CPQ;
  • Process expense reports;
  • Process AP;
  • Create credit memos where needed;
  • Complete month-end close activities timely;
  • You will work closely with sales management, legal and sales operations to ensure proper compliance with revenue recognition rules and guidelines;
  • As needed you will assist with quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests;
  • Prepare SSP Analyses;
  • Prepare sales commissions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance, media);
  • Ability to design, implement, and improve processes;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Capability to quality control work to issue a high quality work product without oversight;
  • Ability to influence, persuade, and build relationships of trust;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in online advertising industry;
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, etc.);
  • Minimum 5 years in Revenue Recognition within the Tech industry;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general revenue documents and contracts;
  • Oracle and SAP system experience & RevStream;
  • Understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP Accounting Standards;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlines;
  • Prior experience working in ERPs such as Netsuite, Workday, etc;
  • Ability to recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present information to managers, peers, and customers.
