Our company is looking for a Vice President, Investor Relations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Viad Corporate website which would include ESG-related disclosures;
  • Prepare regular updates regarding shareholder matters for Viad’s executive team and Board of Directors;
  • Monitor Viad’s presence in the media (including its business units, executives and Board members) and provide timely/relevant updates to management;
  • Serve as central source for educating and updating investors on the Company’s performance;
  • Develop shareholder targeting analytics and implement plan for engaging shareholders;
  • Perform industry benchmarking that could include level of disclosure and presentation format;
  • Create and manage client communications regarding capital call, redemption, and distribution notices;
  • Prepare and support investor presentations and data-visualization tools;
  • Organize, coordinate, and prepare for meetings with investors and prospective investors;
  • Analyze target clients and industry / market data to assist in the development of a marketing and sales strategy.

Requirements:

  • Has a high-level understanding of financial statements and valuation models;
  • Degree in finance, accounting or economics is preferred;
  • 10 + years of Marketing or PR a plus;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing and interact effectively with executive management, and board;
  • Ability to create compelling presentations that speak to the investment community. Power user of Microsoft PowerPoint;
  • Ability to understand and translate the Viad “story” behind the numbers and anticipate questions;
  • Exceptional and demonstrated understanding of how strategy and business execution impact financial performance and value creation;
  • Possesses excellent verbal, interpersonal communications, and business writing skills;
  • Some travel is required (up to 30%);
  • Strong ability to convey strategic and financial messages in written materials, financial models and data analysis;
  • BS or BA required. MBA strongly preferred;
  • Executive Presence: gravitas, confidence, ability to present to the investing community, a CEO (C-Suite leadership team), and Board of Directors;
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills;
