Our company is looking for a Vice President of Analytics to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Size and scope growth opportunities, which should include a business case, a path to growth, an implementation plan, and stakeholder buy-in;
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned;
  • Strengthen customer segmentation and targeting by leveraging advanced analytics to drive performance and brand marketing strategies;
  • Direct data science projects to solve complex data challenges and opportunities;
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences;
  • Manage resources to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met;
  • Develop models that help us deeply understand and describe our customers in order to drive consumer-focused business growth;
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of best in class professionals;
  • Partner with business leaders to optimize Optum Marketing campaigns based on deep analysis;
  • Identify opportunities to use predictive analytics to drive efforts around customer experience and marketing efforts;
  • Distill key insights from analytics that address key NPS challenges and provide actionable recommendations;
  • Develop advanced capabilities in AI and direct the effective integration of predictive analytics and machine learning into our analytics approach;
  • Partner with key stakeholders across marketing, product, operations and other disciplines to communicate insights into actionable initiatives;
  • Prioritize key customer & provider journeys based on an analytics framework to drive maximum business value.

Requirements:

  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally;
  • Experience working in a production environment with large data sets and best practice tools (e.g. cloud architecture, version control, etc.);
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills;
  • 12+ years of experience working in data science and/or advanced analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact;
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement;
  • Expertise with at least one production-quality programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++);
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance.
