Our company is looking for a Associate Media Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of digital media plans including developing recommendations, execution details and budgets;
  • Use a combination of several different kinds of media to reach different audiences;
  • Train and supervise media department employees;
  • Management of national, regional and local client media buying;
  • Solid experience in management of General and Hispanic market media spend;
  • Attend strategy meetings and brainstorm on media buying initiatives and suggestions; and establish best way to communicate client message;
  • Research and implement new techniques and technologies that are relevant to clients’ media strategies;
  • Draw insight from campaign results;
  • Keep abreast of industry figures, including distribution and audience figures;
  • Ideal candidate will have history in Florida markets;
  • Familiar with office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), media software (SMBS, Freewheel, Nielsen) and research tools (eMarketer, Simmons);
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including Display, Video, Mobile, Search and programmatic solutions;
  • 3-5 years of solid agency experience managing annual media budgets +$10M;
  • Strong verbal and presentation for discussion of planning with clients, and receive client approval for each campaign phase;
  • Ownership of all media planning, strengths in traditional broadcast (TV/radio) are a plus.

Requirements:

  • Ability & interest in developing first to market communications plans;
  • Lead improvements in media team work process by presenting & implementing process improvements to the media team;
  • Knowledge of the following digital tools including: DFA, Google Analytics, ComScore, etc;
  • Stay abreast of & inform clients about opportunities & marketplace challenges;
  • Train, develop, evaluate & mentor junior staff to success;
  • Build & develop relationships with vendors, & internal agency counterparts;
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all client questions & requests;
  • Originate & manage the implementation of innovative, first to market communications plans;
  • Proven ability in training & leading a high achieving media team;
  • 6+ years media planning experience including 3+ year digital media;
  • When necessary, work seamlessly with partner agencies, delivering a smooth communications process.
