Contract Technical Writer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Contract Technical Writer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Update the documentation with every Dtex release;
- Be ready to discuss technical details and demonstrate your deep technical knowledge every day;
- Provide multimedia and online help that can be integrated with the product;
- Propose and implement structural and organizational improvements to the documentation set;
- Work closely with engineering teams and product management to understand the Dtex products and the customers who use them;
- Write customer facing technical documentation for Dtex enterprise security products;
- Become an authority on the Dtex platform.
Requirements:
- Experience with organization of the technical documentation for the needs of different consumers (administrators, operators, analysts etc);
- Experience writing deployment guides, user guides and troubleshooting guides for complex enterprise products;
- Experience with organization of technical documentation for multiple products and collating them into an intuitive and wholesome interface;
- Experience with business intelligence tools and data analytics;
- Experience with using Atlassian Confluence as a Technical Documentation platform;
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or relevant professional experience.
