Our company is looking for a Editor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep commitments by delivering exceptional work on-time while addressing all requirements and stakeholder input;
- Work closely with web content producers to ensure copy and visual design work together;
- Develop social copy to promote content assets and blog posts;
- QC videos for any technical errors;
- Develop copy for collateral, landing pages, and blog posts with a focus on driving engagement;
- Provide consistent delivery in grammatical and readability standards;
- Maintain several ongoing projects at once;
- Ensure content aligns to company style guide and brand voice guidelines;
- Exporting deliverables for multiple platforms including Broadcast, Youtube, IGTV, Snapchat, Facebook and Tik Tok;
- Review and edit marketing and product content for collateral assets and web site copy;
- Create engaging, conversational short form copy that delivers key messaging targets and adapted based on persona, segmentation, and vertical/industry;
- Working with Clearances to blur logos, faces or any other information that our Legal Team deems necessary;
- Adapt content to collateral style sheets and templates for direct conversion to PDF;
- Collaborate with other creative functions across departments/stakeholders as needed;
- Creating an edit according to all specifications and responding well to notes and asks by the Producer team.
Requirements:
- Proficient at working in a high volume, fast paced, always changing environment;
- Experience with Adobe Media Encoder, Resolve and Photoshop is a strong plus;
- 2+ years experience working in a fast paced, professional, post production environment;
- Experience with Facebook topical content like our SMQT (Social Media Quick Turn-Around);
- Expert level mastery of Premiere Pro CC 2019;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced start-up environment;
- Proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills;
- Be knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest digital workflows and trends;
- Assessment of adherence to content standards for documentation written by others. 3 years;
- Has the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines;
- Internet publishing experience; 3 years;
- Possess excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Coordinate, document, and validate new or revised procedure content with business Subject Matter Experts; 3 years;
- Can provide examples of previous unscripted work similar in style to our shows.
