QA Documentation Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA Documentation Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures files are accurate and easily retrievable;
- Routes documents for review and approval in the Document Management System;
- Approves Document Change Controls and assigns effective dates to documents;
- Ensure the correct and timely input of database entries;
- Maintains the document archival room;
- Responsible for filing and maintenance of all controlled documents and records;
- Maintains documentation manuals to ensure accuracy and current information;
- Provides additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management;
- Checks format and conformance to document templates;
- Notifies manager of compliance questions and issues;
- Performs general word processing tasks and support;
- Participates in training on issues affecting own area of work;
- The position is the primary technical writer for documents pertaining to production and quality, including policies, programs, etc;
- Provide training and support to internal service and technical staff on software;
- Perform software quality assurance testing on applications, software components, and system products.
Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred;
- BA or equivalent experience.
