Our company is looking for a Technical Writer – Engineering to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to communicate complex and technical information;
  • Ability to work with configuration management team adhering to company standards and practices;
  • Facilitate and participate in round table reviews with functional teams as required;
  • Ensure technical accuracy and quality of technical publications in compliance with customer requirements;
  • Ensure all activities are performed on time using daily management tools and teams resource tracker.

Requirements:

  • Computer-aided design (CAD) experience preferred;
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend technical information;
  • Willingness and ability to travel (0 – 10%) of the time (domestic and international);
  • Ability to work on multiple products and meet timelines;
  • Minimum five years of experience in technical writing preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field required (ie: Engineering, Science, I.T.) preferred;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio;
  • Project Management experience preferred;
  • Experience with requirements capture tools such as Doors or Polarian preferred;
  • US Citizenship or Resident Alien status required to support government programs and projects.
