Our company is looking for a Accounting Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing inventory transactions and adjustments;
  • Proactively communicate on a daily basis to ensure issues and workflow priorities remain on target;
  • Assist with accountant in the preparation/maintenance of financial reports associated with the project;
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts;
  • Create monthly sales management sheets to submit to Japan Head Office;
  • A/P invoice matching and filing;
  • Contact accountant and create trial balance;
  • Execute additional tasks as needed;
  • Recording clients’ petty cash transactions in the petty cash journal;
  • Handle reconciliation of credit card charges and payments;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Office with the ability to address issues in a friendly learning environment;
  • Print, batch, scan, and distribute various invoices and/or checks;
  • Assist with communication to carriers;
  • Ongoing interaction with our clients helping to manage the flow of requested information;
  • Set invoices up for payment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Have own transportation to commute;
  • Basic Excel required;
  • Associate degree or above;
  • 50+ WPS typing speed;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills experience desired;
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping concepts;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • Apart from religious observations, must be able to work Monday-Friday 40 hours/ work week;
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future;
  • Ongoing interaction with our clients helping to manage the flow of requested information;
  • Experience managing business paperwork and accounting for a large company;
  • Account Payable processes: 2 years;
  • Accounting support including preparation of financial statements and general journal entries;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high change environment.
