Our company is looking for a Accounting/Finance Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Assist with requests related to quarterly and annual audits;
  • Aid with departmental projects as needed (Reporting, Billing, Accounts Payable, Internal Audit, etc.);
  • Help with billing and customer inquiries;
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations;
  • Conduct T&E expenses analysis in related to sales activities;
  • Assist with preparation of financial projections and analyses of variances from actual results;
  • Assist Controller with financial analysis and reporting;
  • Assisting billing team create Parent accounts and linking within company billing system;
  • Data entry;
  • Understand how generally accepted accounting principles and practices are integrated into the day to day business environment;
  • Assist with month-end financial reports;
  • Assist monthly bank reconciliation to ensure transaction completeness and accuracy;
  • Prepare periodic financial statements for external parties;
  • Learn how our month end process works and how our financial statements come together.

Requirements:

  • Accounting I & II classes have been taken and passed;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and professionally – both internally and externall;
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • A good person;
  • Comfortable to work within workflows & processes;
  • Passion for accounting operations;
  • Competent to learn new software technology;
  • A highly professional attitude.
