Our company is looking for a Accounts Receivable to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts;
  • Maintain AR Aging reports and continuously update system with data and information ;
  • Reconcile all outstanding accounts to ensure A/R balances represent an accurate position of vendors and client accounts;
  • Production and manual invoicing for all US sites;
  • Research and processes chargebacks, returns, and bad checks;
  • Cash applications;
  • Work directly with customers on deductions / payment discrepancies;
  • Following-up, collecting, and allocating payments;
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis documenting customer set up information and activity;
  • Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries;
  • Data entry of invoices into accounting system for payment;
  • Document all customer set up procedures;
  • Attend customer set up meetings with other internal stakeholders, including sales, IT, operations teams;
  • Process check requests;
  • Assist customer compliance team with customer maintenance in Oracle contracts database as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in billing/AR Collection;
  • Able to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills;
  • Excellent communication and math skills;
  • Ability to type quickly;
  • Solid customer service skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Able to operate with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Minimum of two years of applicable experience;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and software (e.g. AR/AP/GL package) preferred;
  • Strong eye for details;
  • Compliance reporting, research accounting issues using FASB, NAIC and similar resources;
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing and managing files and records ;
  • Solid critical thinking skills;
  • Strong customer service ability;
  • Financial statement preparation and footnote disclosure.
