Our company is looking for a Administrative Assistant (Full-Time) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and reconcile daily deposit of the Sheriffs Office Escrow Account;
  • Receive and docket payments for licenses; apply costs, issue refunds if necessary; maintain an accurate cash drawer;
  • Gather all information on applicant to include conducting background checks and make recommendation for approval or denial of licenses;
  • Greet office visitors; provide information and direction to appropriate location;
  • Performs other job related duties as required;
  • Receive incoming calls; take messages; provide information to callers; forward call to the appropriate location;
  • Prepares writs, deeds, sale bills, transfers and other legal documents as required and any other assistance needed in the Real Estate Division;
  • Attends meetings and/or training sessions as required;
  • Assist with duties of other office staff in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Two to four years working experience in criminal justice;
  • Para legal certification preferred or equivalent work experience;
  • Accounts receivable/payable experience preferred;
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
