Our company is looking for a Administrative Assistant (Full-Time) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile daily deposit of the Sheriffs Office Escrow Account;
- Receive and docket payments for licenses; apply costs, issue refunds if necessary; maintain an accurate cash drawer;
- Gather all information on applicant to include conducting background checks and make recommendation for approval or denial of licenses;
- Greet office visitors; provide information and direction to appropriate location;
- Performs other job related duties as required;
- Receive incoming calls; take messages; provide information to callers; forward call to the appropriate location;
- Prepares writs, deeds, sale bills, transfers and other legal documents as required and any other assistance needed in the Real Estate Division;
- Attends meetings and/or training sessions as required;
- Assist with duties of other office staff in their absence.
Requirements:
- Two to four years working experience in criminal justice;
- Para legal certification preferred or equivalent work experience;
- Accounts receivable/payable experience preferred;
- High school diploma or equivalent.
