Our company is looking for a Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contractor work is completed in a timely manner and is of acceptable quality;
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies;
  • Counsel and/or discipline staff as necessary;
  • Provide excellent customer service and lead team members to do the same;
  • Maintain the property shop in an organized manner;
  • Communicate with the Community Manager and the Regional Property Manager;
  • Assist with snow and ice removal;
  • Schedule and manage apartment turnover process in a timely fashion and ensure that company standards are met;
  • Organize and oversee the daily activities of the maintenance staff;
  • Conduct pre-move-out and move-out inspections.

Requirements:

  • Hard working and self-motivated;
  • Rotating after-hours on-call availability, rotating weekends;
  • High-energy and commitment to high performance in a busy, multi-task work environment;
  • Skilled in using power tools;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or related field;
  • Good people skills, friendly, helpful attitude;
  • Good record keeping for work orders, parts orders, inventory and service/tenant follow-up;
  • HVAC certification preferred;
  • Caring attitude, pride in your work and the apartment property;
  • Frequent need to lift/carry up to 75 lbs;
  • One to three years of Supervisory experience preferred;
  • Valid driver s license from the state of residence required;
  • HVAC experience required;
  • EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required.
