Our company is looking for a Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Running payroll;
  • Responding to emails;
  • Develop monthly financial statements;
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly taxes;
  • Scheduling meetings;
  • Creating and sending out invoices;
  • Reminding the executive of important tasks and deadlines;
  • Record charges for processing in an automated accounts receivable system;
  • Be familiar with and follow all company and facility policies and procedures;
  • Recordkeeping: maintain detailed record of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions in books and ledgers;
  • Expense reporting: review expenditure records and flag any policy violations for remediation;
  • Data integrity: audit financial data for accuracy and perform root cause analysis as needed to determine source of any potential errors;
  • Meet all reporting requirements, deadlines, and other duties as assigned from time to time;
  • Data Entry: Quickbooks entry, cleanly code each into appropriate G/L account;
  • Maintain files and documentation on the status of all outstanding accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment;
  • 2-3 years of experience in a clerical financial or accounting role;
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online or similar accounting software;
  • High school diploma or equivalent and formal classroom bookkeeping education or two years bookkeeping experience;
  • Possess good communication and analytical skills with particular ability to pay attention to details;
  • Proficiency in writing and mathematical skills.
