Closer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Closer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain required documentation prior to closing, and review the file, fees and system data to ensure all exceptions have been cleared;
- Validate loan data on Encompass prior to drawing documents;
- Scheduling and preparing loan files for closing after conditions that are cleared from Underwriting and Processing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Must be comfortable with sales;
- Worked as a closer, or something similar;
- Experience in construction or manufacturing is a huge plus;
- At least 1-2 years in Inside Sales, B2B Sales or other related fields;
- Customer service experience preferred;
- At least 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry;
- Great speaking voice, especially on the phone;
- As a condition of employment you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
