Co Op/Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Co Op/Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct design analysis and testing, both structural and thermal, to prove design will meet customer requirements;
- Responsible for understanding customer needs, generating test procedures and finally executing the test;
- Translate product requirements into a mechanical specification and test plan to be used for development;
- Execute verification testing as defined by the mechanical specification and test plan;
- Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation;
- Assist in performing unit and system level testing to validate design;
- Assist with the design, implementation, and modification of software and embedded firmware applications;
- Assist in the development of requirements for new products;
- Assist with supporting fielded software and firmware applications;
- Assist in the product testing process to verify software functionality;
- Matlab/Simulink based simulation plant modeling and 6DOF equations of motion;
- Navigation algorithms incorporating multi-sensor input;
- SafeRoute – Merging and Spacing (Terminal Area), Surface Area Movement Management (Airfield) and Aircraft Surveillance;
- Analysis utilities for evaluating flight test and simulated UAV performance;
- Simulation operation utilities for performance and processing efficiency.
Requirements:
- GPA of 3.0 or greater;
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required;
- Bachelor’s degree in progress, with sophomore year completed at a minimum;
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with sophomore year completed.
