Our company is looking for a Co Op/Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct design analysis and testing, both structural and thermal, to prove design will meet customer requirements;
  • Responsible for understanding customer needs, generating test procedures and finally executing the test;
  • Translate product requirements into a mechanical specification and test plan to be used for development;
  • Execute verification testing as defined by the mechanical specification and test plan;
  • Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation;
  • Assist in performing unit and system level testing to validate design;
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and modification of software and embedded firmware applications;
  • Assist in the development of requirements for new products;
  • Assist with supporting fielded software and firmware applications;
  • Assist in the product testing process to verify software functionality;
  • Matlab/Simulink based simulation plant modeling and 6DOF equations of motion;
  • Navigation algorithms incorporating multi-sensor input;
  • SafeRoute – Merging and Spacing (Terminal Area), Surface Area Movement Management (Airfield) and Aircraft Surveillance;
  • Analysis utilities for evaluating flight test and simulated UAV performance;
  • Simulation operation utilities for performance and processing efficiency.

Requirements:

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater;
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress, with sophomore year completed at a minimum;
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with sophomore year completed.
