Concierge Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Concierge to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow of Residents in the lobby, ensuring that our Residents are helped in a timely fashion;
- Ability to pleasantly communicate with Residents;
- Answer telephones and respond to Resident requests;
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPPA regulations in accordance with facility policies;
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of events;
- Assist with managing an efficient flow of service;
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
- Register VIP guests, as needed;
- Respond to special requests for services including, but not limited to, dentists, doctors, child care, florists, etc;
- Coordinate efforts with team mates in other departments to fulfill the needs of our members;
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned by the District Manager;
- Manage and organize the delivery of resident packages by accepting packages, arranging the delivery of the package and notifying the resident;
- Follow up with residents;
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications* Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality;
- Create forms, run reports, do internet research, and complete other clerical duties.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may change based on the needs of the business;
- Must have a general understanding of the needs of seniors;
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted;
- Possession of strong organization skills;
- A desire to learn and seek new challenges;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Must be able to provide at least 15 hours of availability per week including one weekend day;
- Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking;
- Available 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm to take and place orders for our customers;
- Cash Handling;
- Attention to detail and quality;
- Must display excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Customer Service;
- 3+ years’ experience of working in a Customer Service position;
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
