Customer Service Representative – 2nd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Customer Service Representative – 2nd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to customers to gather continuous feedback;
- Provide recommendations to improve internal dashboards and the product based on interactions with customers;
- Leverage internal tools to research and resolve customer requests thoroughly and accurately;
- Deliver a best in class customer experience by promptly responding to customer inquiries via email and phone.
Requirements:
- Professional phone demeanor;
- 1+ yr. customer service experience, preferably call center;
- Familiarity with Excel;
- Willing to go the extra mile attitude;
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), scheduling tools (Gmail), and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.);
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work 2nd shift (12:00 pm – 8:30 pm) with shift differential compensation;
- Prior customer service and/or insurance industry related experience;
- Ability to be timely, patient, and attentive to customer needs and requests;
- Detail oriented with affinity for multi-tasking;
- Friendly disposition with natural ability to read customers and use positive language in customer correspondence;
- Willingness to learn and ability to gain deep knowledge of the insurance product and smartphone app;
- Compensation: $17.00/ hr at our Easton Location.
