Distribution Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Distribution Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Escalates deviations in process or product to supervisor, to ensure on-time delivery of material and return of rejected or unsuitable orders;
- Support other departments per special requests as well as kitting materials for Manufacturing;
- Builds, prepares and stages outbound deliveries of orders for external customers;
- Adheres consistently to SOPs and cGMPs;
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods;
- Pick and fill customer orders with RF handheld;
- Operate and Maintain Forklift and other machinery;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
- Package and box orders in preparation for shipment;
- Assist as needed with repair of warranty returned products;
- Maintain a work environment that focuses on Cleanliness, Safety, and 5S Practices;
- Ship Orders through Avante;
- Complete a Year End Physical Inventory;
- Unload and sort product from containers;
- Put away finished Product from unload process.
Requirements:
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Must be able to work overtime;
- Highschool diploma;
- Good communication skills;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Three years experience in a Distribution Center.
